Agrikol grouphad the privilege of visiting the state-of-the-art medical cannabis facility of our esteemed partner,CANWAY,in Zürich, Switzerland. We are thrilled to share our experience touring this cutting-edge, fully equipped facility, which is dedicated to producing high-quality medical cannabis. We extend our heartfelt thanks to CANWAY for their warm invitation and hospitality.
Inside The Grow Ltd.’s Advanced Facility The facility is located in Dietlikon, Zürich and is run under the company The Grow Ltd. During our visit, we explored several essential areas of the facility, each designed to ensure optimal cultivation and processing of medical cannabis. Some key sections we toured include:
Mother & Veg Rooms: These rooms house the most genetically stable plants, which are used to produce clones for further cultivation. Maintaining healthy mother plants ensures consistent and reliable quality in future harvests.
Growing Areas: We were impressed by the meticulously controlled growing environments, where temperature, light, and humidity are carefully regulated to ensure the best possible growth conditions for cannabis plants. The facility has 3 rooms equipped with HPS and 2 rooms equipped with LED lamps.
Drying Rooms: Equipped with precise temperature and humidity controls, these rooms are crucial for drying cannabis properly, preserving the potency, terpenes and overall medicinal properties of the plants.
Sorting and Trimming Area: This space, featuring advanced automation, ensures the efficient sorting, trimming, and processing of cannabis to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Storage Areas: The Grow’s secure storage facilities are designed to maintain the quality and safety of harvested cannabis, ensuring that products remain fresh and potent before distribution.
Each of these areas plays a vital role in The Grow’s operation, ensuring that every step of the cannabis cultivation process is carried out with precision and care.Switzerland’s Medical Cannabis Market Switzerland is emerging as a key player in the European medical cannabis market, thanks to its progressive approach to regulation and growing demand for natural, plant-based medical treatments. Recent legislation has made it easier for companies to legally cultivate and distribute it. As the demand for medical cannabis continues to rise, Switzerland is poised to become a hub for innovation in cannabis cultivation and production. With companies like CANWAY leading the way, Switzerland’s medical cannabis market is expected to experience substantial growth in the coming years.
The Importance of Fully Equipped Facilities in Medical Cannabis Production Fully equipped facilities like The Grow’s are essential for the successful cultivation of medical cannabis for several reasons:
Quality Control: Advanced systems allow for precise control over the growing environment, ensuring consistent quality, which is especially important in the medical field.
Regulatory Compliance: Medical cannabis production is subject to strict regulations regarding cleanliness, safety, and product quality. A fully equipped facility ensures that all these standards are met.
Efficiency and Optimization: By integrating advanced technology, facilities can maximize resource use—such as water, nutrients, and energy—making the operation more sustainable and cost-effective.
Reliability and Scalability: With the right equipment in place, facilities can easily scale operations to meet increasing demand without compromising product quality.
